Feeling unseen and unheard,

You lost your shine, your only strength.

You forgotten that you are worth it too, that you also stand a chance in this society.

You see that other people are doing something useful with their lives or have atleast something stable in their lives to work with.

Then,

You started feeling useless and inadequate.

You started crying out in your prayers “Oh Lord, please help me!”.

You do whatever you can do to stay afloat, but you see that the odds are constantly stacked against you.

You then gave it another shot, however everything you worked hard for feels like it’s all done in vain.

Convinced by “Nothing ever works out for me”, you feel like you are rotting away.

Rejections after rejections, “Am I always down on my luck?”.

The sun rose and it sets.

The silent night arrives to accompany your downcast spirit.

The thought of “What am I doing with my Life?” rings in your ears before you doze off to sleep.

Overwhelmed by the lack of success, bitterness and sorrows are what reigns your days.

You dreaded each day because with each day, your worries only seemed to pile up higher.

You feel that you are running aimlessly because the end of the tunnel feels so unreachable.

But you must stay strong, you must keep trying.

You get a lot of rainy days and thunderstorms but you refuse to surrender to giving up because you believe that there is no such thing as “Giving up” in life.

Escapism could only last for so long before you are called to return to your reality.

Then you started doing something productive again, because you don’t want to cease striving.

“If I feel depressed and unmotivated today, tomorrow is another day”, you reassured yourself.

You picked up your own slack again and you continued in doing what you ought to do to keep yourself progressing.

Ultimately, you recalled that you are strong enough for making pass each and every day.

So as long as you are still breathing and moving forward, you are a Hero.

Just Remember that, Life is already very hard, so be kind to yourself
